1B1M(read: One business, One meme) is a project designed to help organizations and startups join the crypto meme culture by using the principle that made Bitcoin great, to issue their own Rune token (Bitcoin meme): Mining.
We believe that tokens mined through Proof-of-Work consensus promote the sustainability of a Web3 community. They are fairer than other methods. No team allocation, no reserve, no hidden agenda.
Meme tokens or Runes (on Bitcoin) are typically created to represent trends, humorous or amusing topics, or any other imaginable subject. They are typically created to mobilize a community and can be used in peer-to-peer activities such as rewards, trading or educational purposes.
1B1M will use on-chain mining and the innovation brought by the BlockMiner project to make cryptocurrency mining fun. You will be able to Create a virtual mining rig, charge it with energy (computing power) and start mining to earn the next block of Runes.
1B1M will leverage the infrastructure of Bitcoin and Internet Computer to provide an opportunity for interested startups to experiment with crypto meme culture, primarily to bring FUN to their community.
As a proof of concept, we will be launching a Rune in the coming weeks to celebrate the month of Runes with the ecosystem called “Rune June”.
