EdenEOS has its foundations in the book ‘More Equal Animals’ written by Daniel Larimer; entrepreneur, engineer, inventor and creator of DPoS consensus, EOS.IO blockchain operating system and the EdenOS governance system.
In his book, Daniel presents the current situation in our democratic societies, explores and proposes new democratic processes that encourage the search for consensus rather than the division into political factions.
Imagine if there was a system of governance with no political party and no particular interest. Imagine if there was a way to change a system without violence and without a political party. All of this can be addressed with a system that allows the people to hold the government accountable.

True Democracy Properties
If the purpose of democracy is to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, then it must have the following properties:
Composed of independent people
Independence defined as ability for minority to secede
Resistant to covert control by minorities (the 0.01%)
Survive a systematically misinformed population
Aggregate wisdom from local knowledge
Not require individuals to possess global knowledge
Empower the individual rather than disempower
Protect the majority from a minority
Protect the minority from the majority
Failure transparent to all
Process to recover from failure obvious to all
Empower people to reach a new consensus
Not overly biased toward the status quo.
A true democracy establishes a process for many-to-many dispute resolution and compromise that is resistant to capture of a covert minority.
It is a system that people voluntarily participate in to escape the law of the jungle. It should protect the minority from the majority and the majority from the minority.
A true democracy is a process by which rights are discovered and enforced with the true consent of the people.
